Our Origin & Philosophy.

Randy Garner and Ross B. Melvin, Jr. CPA (inactive), founded Medical Practice & Management Partners, Inc. (MP2) in August 1998 to assist physicians and institutions in developing strategies, organizational development, and facilitating implementation processes for managed care contracting purposes.  But what has also evolved in the marketplace is the need for a credible business/management partner that knows and understands its proper place and will lend credibility to the clients’ continued success.  Although we view ourselves as a national company, we have concentrated on the south and eastern markets and have enjoyed success in this niche market.  As we have grown, MP2 has added and will continue to add high quality partners, associates, strategic partners, and staff to serve its clients.

Medical Practice & Management Partners, Inc. believes the implementation of solid operations management and business practices is the best strategy for dealing with changes in the health care industry.  We also believe, unlike most of our competitors, that the essential and integral components of leading change in the future are physicians.  MP2 promotes high physician involvement and participation at all levels.
